Living in a Van in Vancouver
Переглядів 3,4 тис.6 років тому
While living the van life on Vancouver Island last month, I took a break from the van for a day and decided to SCUBA dive down to explore the shipwreck of an old military destroyer ship called the HMCS Saskatchewan. It was sunk in 120 feet of water just off shore of Nanaimo, British Columbia. I chartered a boat to get us to the dive site and a local diver guided my friend Bria and I down to the...

The Magic Bus is safely on display in Fairbanks now. :) The Stampede really isn't 1A and too many people who saw the movie are not experienced hikers. Not to mention that the Tek is absolutely vicious in the summer. Also a replica from the movie is from Healy. And the Bus has been restored.

As I hear it he injested a miners carrot, this blocks the metabolism from the necessary fuel from your liver. I read the account a while back and felt sympathetic about his reasons and searching. He shot a moose but did not process it correctly so his fate was a tragedy as is ours also in death. It reminds me of some in our western culture that pushes people to lies, not truthful.

I'm being a little bit nitpicky, but if this is such a spiritual place, then what would've been appropriate is to set your camera down on a tripod and exist within the space, and try to gain something from it, instead of put canned music with your canned reaction. I would've much preferred to hear what this place sounded like.

I feel like it's a bit disrespectful going that spot where he lost his life. Not only that, it's irresponsible for you guys to show the bus and that it can be accessed, but as you used very hard to get to, so for those who don't have the money to charter a helicopter like you guys did, they may try and get there at the risk of their own lives.
